SANDRA ZHANG
Hi! I am Sandra.Welcome to my website!
I am now studying my MEd program at OISE of UT. My idea for this web-based project is to create a website for learning about how to motivate students in the online learning environment. I’ve taken a few online courses and it could be a challenge sometimes to keep up with all of the work and be self-motivated. I hope it would be helpful and valuable for us as well as our students in the future online teaching and learning.
Some pages on this site may look text-heavy, but it's also a good choice to practice focus meditation. I'd like to share an experience here. When I was teaching English Grammar with my elementary level English Language Students, I asked them to look at the objects on handouts for a few seconds and then use their favorite prepositions to make sentences. I gave instructions like relaxing their bodies, sitting in a comfortable position, taking long and deep breaths while simply experiencing the relationship between objects.By doing so they got pleasant feelings of being able to build connections with the lines, circles or some pleasing pictures and being fully present in that moment.
Now start reading, concentrating on the words and sentences, you would feel what i felt when I was reading them at OISE library and typing each letter carefully till late night. I think the greatest insights you would get from here are by navigating this site mindfully on your own and connect to your life.
Take your time and enjoy!
This is a calendar which I use to schedule my time based on the tasks and organize my work in a consistent way
